2. Scope of services
MilePal offers online language coaching, communication training, and related educational services. Services are delivered online via agreed digital platforms.
MilePal does not guarantee specific learning outcomes. Results may vary depending on individual effort, attendance, and circumstances.
3. Pricing and payment
All prices are displayed in euros (EUR).
Payment is required in advance and must be completed through the available online payment methods.
Access to services or scheduling of lessons is confirmed only after successful payment.
4. Booking and delivery of lessons
Lessons are delivered online at agreed dates and times.
The client is responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and access to the required technology.
Lesson links or access details are provided electronically.
5. Cancellation and rescheduling policy
MilePal offers lesson packages. Cancellation conditions depend on the package purchased.
a) 6-lesson package
Lessons cancelled less than 72 hours before the scheduled start time are counted as used and deducted from the package.
b) 10-lesson package
Lessons cancelled less than 48 hours before the scheduled start time are counted as used and deducted from the package.
c) 20-lesson package
Lessons cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time are counted as used and deducted from the package.
Cancellations made outside the timeframes stated above are not automatic and require explicit approval from MilePal.
Failure to attend a scheduled lesson without prior notice is considered a late cancellation and will be counted as used.
6. Refund policy
Refunds apply only to unused lessons.
From any refund amount, MilePal may deduct:
lessons already delivered;
lessons counted as used due to late cancellation;
transaction or payment processing fees.
Refunds are processed using the original payment method where possible.
7. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
By purchasing MilePal services and scheduling lessons, the client expressly agrees that the service begins immediately.
The client acknowledges that once the service has started, the statutory right of withdrawal under EU consumer law no longer applies.
8. Client responsibilities
Clients agree to:
attend lessons on time;
communicate cancellations in accordance with this policy;
behave respectfully and professionally during sessions;
use the services solely for personal educational purposes.
MilePal reserves the right to terminate services in case of serious misconduct.
9. Intellectual property
All teaching materials, content, and resources provided by MilePal remain the intellectual property of MilePal unless stated otherwise.
Materials may not be copied, shared, recorded, or distributed without prior written consent.
10. Limitation of liability
MilePal is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of its services.
MilePal does not guarantee specific results or outcomes from educational services.
11. Privacy
Personal data is processed in accordance with MilePal’s Privacy Policy, available on the website.
12. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Dutch law.
Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
13. Changes to these Terms and Conditions
MilePal may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The most recent version will always be published on the website.
